One year ago my good friend Will, the co-founder of Road34, flew down to Lima, Peru and bought a VW Kombi van. He ended up driving it thousands of miles around South America, from Peru, to Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia, on the most remote roads and through tiny towns and all types of amazing terrain, meeting plenty of interesting people along the way. He coaxed and tinkered the van through a laundry list of ailments and eventually drove it all the way back to Peru where it was stored in a casino garage.
Now, he's back in South America, reunited with the van and has just begun driving it all the way home to Fort Collins, Colorado. It's all recounted in hilarious, beautiful detail in words and photos in his blog: Kombi and Me.
