temporary like achillies

My car started to shudder a little bit every time I pressed on the gas. So I thought I needed to buy a new fuel filter. 20 bucks? Then I found out that the fuel filters for honda accords are made for the life of the car, and built into some sort of fuel relay structure that costs a grand to replace as a whole. So I brought it into the shop to find out what was really the matter. They called me back at the end of the day, after they had time to compile all of the problems they'd found into a list. It added up to 2600 dollars of repairs. But I stopped them before they were half way though. The car only cost 500 bucks to begin with. So it was fun while it lasted.
