epicly later'd status-wise, brosephs

If you're as intrigued/obsessed by Patrick O'dell's site, Epicly Later'd as I am, then I figure you'll enjoy this similarly styled collection of photos chronicling a few of the same familiar and immensely charismatic characters. Bonus loser points if you can identify the photographer based solely on the process of eliminating recognizable faces..

Landing Under Water, I See Roots
>
This is a snapshot from the Pacific City webcam yesterday evening. I don't know why I signed on to check the webcam so late in the evening. I don't know why some of the colors of the Pelican Brewery or of the sky were rendered in the way they were. And I don't know who is responsible for running the webcam in that location, because it's position is not fixed. The camera angle is often changed numerous times throught the day, and sometimes even zoomed in to highlight the quality of the waves or lack thereof. Who is the person behind it? All of these unknowns make the image more meaningful for me somehow. I guess I like liking things both because of and despite unknowns beyond explaination. That, and it's simply a beautiful image.

All the things we hide in water
hoping we won't see them go—
(forests growing under water
press against the ones we know)—
and they might have gone on growing
and they might now breathe above
everything I speak of sowing
(everything I try to love).

This roll's just been sitting in a camera for a while, half-finished. There were a few pictures on it from right before I left Colorado..

This was right around the time the new skate park was finished in Ft. Collins. Thrasher's skate bands tour was in town and all the dudes who'd been putting in serious hours building the park went over and rocked it.

and some from Halloween..

stretch out and wait
Corvallis-wise,

Meghan, back in her apartment that she sublet to me this summer. She tweaked her knee surfing, but just found out everything should be ok. Hopefully she'll be back in the water soon.

Chris dropped in to check on his sister and stayed long enough to shred some trails with me. And it was sick. Cheers bro.
>
This was the only digital photo in the bunch, the rest are film. What do you think about the difference?
