The Xit Maui longboard, aka Longdick is my first surfboard. I bought it 4 years ago here in Corvallis already completely trashed and covered in ding repairs. I've put my share of dings in it as well and eventually it got to the point where it was so beat up and cracked that it was more patches than original fiberglass. But it's been a great board, a surprisingly fun shape despite it's appearance, and I'm way too attached to it at this point to part with it. So I stripped it down to the foam core and am in the process of sanding it and doing a small amount of shaping to coax it in the direction of something functional again. Updates to follow.
